And then...

They were in a whole new world. Gushing with excitement and barely contained glee. There was a whole new city to explore. The id tags around their necks reminded them of the proud fact that they now had 'jobs'. They embarked upon this new journey, holding hands, glad that they hadn’t arrived there alone. Training was mad mad fun. Meeting new people, learning new stuff, having crushes, falling briefly in love, drunk on happiness.

Then one day, in the cafeteria, they met another guy. A friend of a friend made acquaintance. Again, very very random!!!. He was supposedly super-shy, innocent and naive, and everyone at once felt protective towards him and tried to indulge him in small-talk. I can only imagine how much this sarcastic cynic would have laughed inside his head at this motley bunch.

Laughter, sarcasm and a heady rush of freedom – this was the backdrop where they got to know each other better. Every little occurrence taught them a little abt each other. One was extra sensitive, one was a child at heart, one exuberantly crazy, one subtly funny, so on and so forth. They didn’t find anything wrong with one-another. Yet.
